Offering a Quality Instrumental Program of Sacred, Classical and Traditional Band Music

The Central Oklahoma Home School Band is an instrumental program designed to give Oklahoma homeschoolers the experience and joy of being in a quality band.

With over 350 students in 16 locations, COHB offers programs for beginning, intermediate and advanced players. In 2003, the band was expanded to include instruction for beginning string players and an orchestra for more advanced string players.

New Schedule for Oklahoma City Bands beginning August 2012

All OKC bands will meet on Tuesdays:

10:15 AM-11:30 AM  Beginning Band
11:30 AM-12:45 PM  Intermediate Band
12:45 PM- 2:00 PM   Orchestra
  2:00 PM- 3:15 PM   Winds
  3:15 PM- 4:30 PM   Advanced Band
  4:30 PM- 5:45 PM   Stage Band

This new schedule will allow all of the bands to meet on one day, and will allow several students to continue with their existing instruments and take another instrument on the same day without returning a second day. The new schedule should resolve the problems for those band students who are also involved in the homeschool choir program.

Six Flags Over Texas invites Home School groups, associations and families to come out and enjoy an exclusive private day at the park on Thursday, May 3 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
